Stephen & Stephenson Company has a rich history rooted in long-standing relationships and industry expertise. The company was formed in 2000 through the merger of two well-established agencies: Jim Stephenson & Associates, founded in 1954 by Jim Stephenson, and Edward Stephen Company, founded in 1962 by Ed Stephen. .

The company’s strong foundation is built on enduring relationships with both the manufacturers it represents and the customers it serves. These relationships were established by the founders and continue under current management, which averages 31 years of industry experience. The sales staff brings an additional depth of knowledge, with individual experience ranging from 5 to 23 years at Stephen & Stephenson. Most of the product lines represented today have been with the company for over 20 years, and several for more than 55 years. This longevity ensures not only expert knowledge of current products, but also deep familiarity with legacy systems still in use.

Stephen & Stephenson serves a broad Texas territory. Coverage includes Southeast Texas, encompassing Houston, Galveston, Beaumont and the Golden Triangle, Lufkin, Huntsville, and the Bryan–College Station area. The company also covers Central and South Texas, including Austin, Round Rock, Waco, San Antonio, Laredo, Corpus Christi, and the Rio Grande Valley, as well as North Texas, Northeast Texas, and the West Texas Panhandle. Sales efforts focus on Architects, Engineers, Wholesalers, Contractors, School Districts, and Hospitals.

The company’s headquarters is located in Houston in a 14,000-square-foot office and warehouse facility situated on two acres. Warehouse capabilities include four dock-high bays, two grade-level bays, and a truck well designed to load and unload any vehicle or trailer. Services include tag-and-hold, as well as minor machining and fabrication.
Stephen & Stephenson also operates a San Antonio location in a 6,500-square-foot office and warehouse facility, featuring a dock-high ramp to grade level for flexible loading and unloading. Warehouse services at this location include tag-and-hold, will call, and minor machining and fabrication.
